Timed out
 

Anyone else can't post because they are Timed out. It has been doing this for the last couple weeks. I thought I would try it in a new post. Oyher wise I haven't been able to reply to any post at all???? I checked all settings as it said to...nothing has chaged?

I was timed out in fast reply to this post. It seems to go through if you click post reply instead of fast reply...just in case someone else is having problems.

I got this today 3 times, twice on fast replies and once on a new post.

There was a sticky thread by the admins explaining that there have been some problems lately. It's a known issue.

I hope they fix it because this is driving me crazy as well i usualy hit fast reply and it times out then i lose what i typed

If you're getting the timed out message, try this.

Click on 'log out'. Refresh the page to be sure you are really logged out.

Log in again, but do not click the 'remember me' box.

Try to post again.

We are aware of the problem and we're working on it, trust me. It's going to take some time though as it will require a fresh install of the forum software and a migration of the database, which includes over 100,000 members, all their data, and the million or so posts that have been made.

In the meantime, try clearing your cookies, clearing your temp internet files, logging out, and then loggin back in WITHOUT ticking the "Remember Me" box. That has been working for most poeple, and although you will have to log back in if you close your browser window, it's better than not being able to post at all.
