Twist on baiting

I know, I know. another baiting topic post. But here's my question. How is sitting over a watering hole in new mexico waiting for an antelope to come up and drink, any different than throwing a pile of corn 25 yards from your stand? They're going to come in to the water no matter what, so is hunting a watering hole out west any better than baiting anywhere else?

Haven't we beat this topic to death?

But even in states where waterhole hunting is accepted, baiting is outlawed. Interesting huh?

And it's perfectly acceptable to plant an acre of clover and hunt over that........I'm not sure I understand the logic behind it all, but the laws are the laws I suppose.

my opinion a field of clover is not the same and a 5x5 pile of bait. you still have to figure out entry and exit routes on a field.

there is nothing wrong with baiting. i put miles of corn out every time i go to the stand and sit in my high rack on my high fence ranch and shoot the big bucks at long distances with my rifle

yeah, i use scentlok.the reason why i have it is that it was a gift.would I have paid that much money for it myself? no. But i've hunted four times so far this year, and believe it or not i truly believe that it works.90 degrees last weekend in georgia, sweatin like a boar hog. 2 does and one buck 7 yards from me.maybe not the scentlok, but it sure makes you think.
