Ladder stand installation

I put up my ladder stand this past Sunday in a new location. This is a strip of trees about 50 feet wide between a corn field and a swamp area. Signs of travel between each other. Question is: Season open on Oct. 1st and we cut down a few 6-8 inch dia. trees that were dead. What kind of trouble do you all think this will cause me?

I never cut "lanes" I place my stand so I can take advantage of what's given.

But if your talking a few...what 2-3 no biggie

But if your "few" altered the landscape, than it could easily cause you issues.

I agree unless it's early summer and the deer can relax. They know when things are altered so if you choose to cut lanes, make the subtle and get rid of the branches ect that you may cut. Don't open a highway.

No, we removed 2 small dead trees and 1 sapling and removed it.

Shouldn't be a problem I don't think. I usually try to leave as much of the tree as I can, and trim branches that will affect the shot, especially if it is really close to season, but sometimes there are no options and you need to just take the tree.
