What are the best broadheads to use?

I have been using Muzzy 100's, but I'm looking for some that costs a little cheaper. Anybody got any ideas? I would appreciate it.

You can get Muzzy 100grains at wal-mart dirt cheap!! I think like $12 for 6 of them. I bought a pack last year just for groundhogs.

When it comes right down to it, the broadhead is the only piece of your equipment that you absolutely can not compromise on. When you consider how much of an investment you have in your bow, arrows, releases, sights, tags/licenses, travel expenses, trail cams, treestands, etc., etc., the broadhead is but a very small percentage. Question should not be,"what's the cheapest?", but rather what is the best. The "best" meaning strength, sharpness and accuracy...these are the means to the quickest most humane kill of your game. For me, that means Silver Flames, although I am a big Slick Trick fan as well. Others will have different answers...most likely based on the same criteria. I am pretty sure you won't get responses that were based on what was in the bargain bin. Good luck. ;)

I'm with Red Boar,

I don't know why the business end of your arrow would be the place to be cheap, especially since
bh's are relatively cheap when compared to other hunting expenditures.

I'm not a Muzzy shooter, but I do think that they are probably the best bh value - they are dependable,
proven and you can get a 6 pack for about $30 when a lot of other bh's are that price for 3.

I have used two different broadheads for the most part. Muzzy 3 blades are the ol' dependable -- the broadhead all broadheads are compared against. Last year I purchased a set of Slick Trick's and I have been shooting them since -- very satisfied. They fly true, and do a number. I shot a doe last night -- complete pass through and nice entry/exit holes.
