bow hunting priv land should i use a stand or ground blind
i meet today with the guy i meet last week that has fourty acre i can hunt
nice guy great land he showed me a few good spots that are right in the middle of a creek and a soybean fieldand the land is mainly clean of those little limbs that like to grap your arrow
i can use either a tree stand or a pop up grond blind
i planed to hunt public land i was going to go with a ground blind but sincethis privit and set back in a large famliy owned track of land i can use a stand with out much worry of it getting stolen.
i am a big guy and would have to use a 2 person ladder stand but now i do not have to worry about removeing it everyday i can set it up all season
so which should i use what are the pros and cons of each

I would go woth a stand over a blind anyday. The stand will give you way more ability to see andit will help with reducing your scent. I feel that it is less less noticeable to the deer then a big ol ground blind that you plop in the middle of the woods where they are walking by everyday. I would look for travel runs from the soybeans to the creek and or to any bedding areas. Try to set your stand up about 25 yards off a main trail.
The ground blinds need to be in the woods for a while so the deer can get use to them. You also have limited vision and your scent stays low to the groundwith ground blinds as well.
I say treestand for sure. JMO. Good luck
