OCD

I just got into bowhunting last year at the age of 49, went out as much as possible and got a shot at a buck but missed.Even though I missed I was excited but I told myself I need to practice andlearn more. So from that day on I read anything I can get my hands on about bowhunting and practice almost everyday. Now my wife tells me I have OCD (which stands for) obsessive compulsive disorder. She say that all I do is shoot my bow and read about it.I told her I am a novice, how do I get better if I don't read or practice. I turn 50 in one month and theseason starts in one week, if I get a mature doe or buck I'll show her OCD. Anyone else have this disorder or is itsomething old men get.

RE: OCD

Our season started Sept 1. On the eve of Aug 31, my wife said to me, "Well, I guess I'm going to be a hunting widow for the next 5 months." The widow thing freaked me out a little bit, but I understood she just mean she would lose me temporarily to hunting.

I'll be around for the worthless-horrid-frigid-football and activitylessmonth of Feb, then most of March, until it's time to get the boat ready to go back in the water for the 1st of April.
