RE: realtree gum

I just got picked off by a doe right after breathing in their direction and I'm sure that was why.

I tried some and I'm sure it smells like pine trees to a deer. Furthermore, after taking it, my sister, who's an extreme breath smeller, could not smell it. It does work.

I believe that breath elimination is more important than any other kind. You could probably do it other ways, but this is certainly the easiest!

I use Wintergreen Kodiak between my cheeck and gums.:D

I've had does come in under my tree and smell my spit.
You know, I've often wondered about that. I hunted with a guy last year who said he had a doe walk up to his ladder stand and licked at his spit (wintergreen) on his ladder stand. I'll bet a mature buck wouldn't do that, though.:D

Its amazing all the stuff we buy to try and get a deer. Camo outfits, scent blocks, tree stands, face paint or masks, attractants laundry soaps, soap, shampoos and now gum. How did our ancestors ever survive without all this stuff? They just walked into the woods and got their game.

and that goofy pill that supposedly gets rid of smell from the inside out:D

Well, I guess you can sell anything. I just brush my teeth. It makes me feel better. Honestly, though if a deer smells your breath, that means he's downwind of you. Chances are he would smell you anyway, Scent Lock or not.
