I might need some help....
From an adult beverage to sleep tonight........No way I'm sleepin....who's up for an HNI all nighter??? :eek:
I'm a little disappointed w/ the wind direction.....Forecast for an east wind tomorrow afternoon, the absolute WORST to hunt my droptine buck.....You know how often we get an east wind around here?? Well, neither do I, but it ain't very often.....[:@] |

Well its not opening day for deer for me tomorrow but it is for Partridge and Pheasant, not as exciting as opening day for deer but im still a lil excited

My only time to hunt is the a.m. An east or south wind will be good for me, and a west wind will work.....out of the north I'm hosed!
Prayin for a good se wind in the mornin' I'm going to bed as soon as I get home. I don't know if I'll sleep or not, but I'm gonna wallow! Good luck on that buck tomorrow! GH |

im here with you mobow...special early nanny season starts for me in the morning...im pumped. with any luck, i may be posting my first bowkill tomarrow.
good luck... i was finally glad to see the wind SHIFT from summer to winter direction. been blowing from the south till about last week. finally got west, NW and north winds...which is pretty much the norm and what i plan most of my stands for. tomarrow doesnt really matter...no matter what the wind tends to blow from the river up through the hollow out though the orchard im hunting. deer bed between me and the river so it works out dandy...:) worse comes to worse, im taking the orange hat and gunna try to kill me a groundhog with the bow tomarrow. when talking to the orchard owner a month ago he said deer and groundhogs are out of control in there...funny he told me deer were heavy last year...i only seen 2 young bucks..i think this early season should be better...we shall see.... 6hr and 45 minutes:D:D:D:D |

Hunting with a hangover isn't too much fun. But I did kill a buck one morning in such a state. Back when I was young and could do stupid things like that. Let me tell you, that makes em go away pretty quick[8D]

How's this for nanny smackin.....The mobow of last year would have had a tag filled by oh seven hundred this mornin......But he let all 3 of them walk.....Ugliest does I ever saw. They were getting their winter coats in, bout half and half......FUGLY I tell ya....I wouldn't have mounted any, so I didn't shoot any....[&:]
They were close enough at one point I could have spit (or, as one of us around here does......PEED, on them [&o]).......Directely under me. One happened to look up, she saw me and it startled her and she ran off about 30 yards.....they milled around for a while before walking off. Bad wind direction this evening, so I'm hunting with jmbuckhuntr at his place......Prolly won't be able to check in till tomorrow, I'm staying at my parent's house and they are without internet. |
