Do you think it's possible to break a bone shooting your bow?

RE: Do you think it's possible to break a bone shooting your bow?
My first thought was an avulsion fracture of a bone cyst. Bone cysts are not terribly uncommon, and at the attachment point of the rotator cuff muscles, it could pull out.
I think it's a good call, NY
Second thought was how old are you? Slipped epiphysis?

Let me clarify, the fracture is about 3 inches away from my shoulder. I don't know if it is the collar bone or some other bone in there. It's where you would rest something if you were carrying it over your shoulder. I was pulling 70 pounds and am only 35 yrs old. I have a very physical job, help on my parent's farm, cut wood all the time, etc.... so it's not like I'm a wuss or anything. It was the first time I had shot my bow in 2-3 weeks though. I get the results from the MRI on Monday.
