My first thought was an avulsion fracture of a bone cyst. Bone cysts are not terribly uncommon, and at the attachment point of the rotator cuff muscles, it could pull out.
I think it's a good call, NY Second thought was how old are you? Slipped epiphysis? Brian |

Sorry to hear that!!!I feel your pain.My shoulder started bothering me about sixweeks ago to the point I could not pull my bow.Went to the Doctors and sure enough I got bone spurs. They wanted to take care of it but I said not yet I'll see you in January. So with some meds and a hard head Im going hunting.GOOD LUCK TO YA !!!!!

Let me clarify, the fracture is about 3 inches away from my shoulder. I don't know if it is the collar bone or some other bone in there. It's where you would rest something if you were carrying it over your shoulder. I was pulling 70 pounds and am only 35 yrs old. I have a very physical job, help on my parent's farm, cut wood all the time, etc.... so it's not like I'm a wuss or anything. It was the first time I had shot my bow in 2-3 weeks though. I get the results from the MRI on Monday.
