i think i might have found two new hunting buddys
yesterday i went out scouting and found a good spot off of one i already planed to hunt and i even seen to young deer and two good shooter does
i tought i know this is there year i would have never thought that between now and the time i took my first deer i would have a better day. But today two guys came out to give me a est. on shigling my roof and i told them that came oct first i would be in the woods. So we got talking hunting and they bow hunt only. Andhave fourty acres of hunting land as after talking they said i was more then welcome to come kill some does off there land. Which makes me one happy hunter. Evem more then that is that tis is my fourth season and i think they might beable to teach a thing or two about hunting. So i think today is the happyest i will be untill i take my first deer. But i have a question i can use either a stand or a pop up blind i am thinking a stand since i will be on priv land and wont have to worry as much about it getting stolen is there any thing i must do differnt like bow sights body scent so on for bow hunting out of a tree stand and what stand should i get i am a big guy and will need a two person stand |
RE: i think i might have found two new hunting buddys
well i cant really say im any help because ive never used a two man stand, but with your scent and aiming, it should all be the same really. if the size of stand it that big of issue i would just use a "heavier" materialed ground blind and leave it out there for a few weeks before the season starts.or make one from piling sticks/logs and such. sitting under a pine/cedar tree works well also.

i had planed to use a ground blind before i found these guys which i will now have priv land to hunt so i thought a stand would be better
but for either i can not put it untill the first of oct due to i am spending to much money on the house i am remodeling |
