Alright, take this picture and add a red spot as to where you would put your sight pin. Then repost the picture.Just pretend he walked out on you at 20 yards and you are full drawn..

BTW this is not my picture just one I found on tha net...

Also you may use green to show were you would aim outta treestand

pretty much the same place....just raised it up for the lower exit hole ofa treestand shot.

About an inch below that green dot in the post above me. That deer is spooked (alert) and my bow aint that fast......

that is where im aiming. that is from a decintly steep treestand angle too...say 20ft high and 15-20yd shot. i rather be too low than too high.

correct me if im wrong, my ground shot should be a heart shot. my treestand should also take the heart and lungs...

my 2 lock ons i hung this year are rather low. unless they are really close im aiming just above the meeting of the body and leg...cant live with a hole through their heart and air in their chest cavity and atleast 1 collapsed lung
