Hunting boots

So what is the most popular hunting boots on the forum this year? I am curious about the new Scent Blocker boot, not for the scent elimination but for comfort.

when i want comfort, i lace up my White's Smoke Jumpers. toughest, most comfortable boots ive ever owned. expensive, but worth it when it comes to comfort and durability.

planning to purcash another pair of Whites with a waterproof lining in the future. their comfort and durability is unmatched. i break 200$ rockys in a year. the whites i have now lived through a summer of landscaping where everyone else had to go buy a new pair half way through summer. cleaner, oiled and polished them and they look as good as new...and still as comfortable as ever.

when i want warmth or waterproof, i reach for my rubber boots. Lacrosses were on sale when i wanted them. my girlfriend didnt notice the difference between Lacrosse and Field and Stream since they were the same price...i got the field and stream when she bought them for Christmas..oh well. they work well and arent a bad boot..

this year i will be wearing both to the stand. if its real cold(i got a sweaty feet problem...gotta be REAL cold) or crossing creeks or swamp i will wear the rubbers. if its a normal day on stand, i will most likely be in my smokejumpers...

some say rubber is the way to go. but to me and the way my feet sweat in rubber boots, i think its better for me to wear leather and keep my feet dry...ive had deer cross my trail numerous times last year...waited for them to bolt...but never did. i always spray them down real good before heading to the stand...works for me...even when i was a baby and wore the 1piece pajams dad had to cut the rubber feet off mine because my feet sweat so bad...

Well I love my rubber swamp boots for a bunch of reasons, but they suck to walk any distance in. They’re hard to be quiet in, and they aren’t good for hiking comfortably. I’m going to get a pair of sneakers to stalk hunt in this year and keep them in my pack.
Good luck,
KP

I LOVE THE IRISH SETTER LINE FROM RED WING. I looked at the scent blocker I have two concerns I have a large calf and the opening didnt look to big 2nd there is no isulation to them in the later part of the season.

I recommend different boots for different situations. Never have to many. For me hunting is something to be enjoyed. Cold wet feet aren't part of the equation. There isn't one that will fit the bill all the time.

Waterproof but not complete on the scent free, watch out and wear your pants over them, as they "puff" scent every time you step.
