CONGRATULATIONS Jenna on your first deer. I'm 48, been huntin with bow/arrow for close to 20 years and I've yet to take a deer...of any kind. So don't put it down by "it's just a doe". Hunting with a bow and arrow takes a lot of courage, skill,talent, and patience. Something that a lot of gun hunters (nothing personal) probably don't have. That is a wonderful accomplishment for a young woman.

Any deer with a string and stick is a great accomplishment. congrats on your first bowkill, and hope you have many more to come...you will never forget your first.

Thanks everyone! Yes it is a browning bow 8pt~Bowhunter, a micro adrenaline.45 pound draw weight and the arrow went right through her...i was amazed. I am hoping to get up to 50 pounds in a month or 2.
