And now, the rest of the story:

He thinks about leaving, but it’s mid-rut.
He decides to clean his nasty butt.
It’s awkward undressing in a climbing stand
and he slips and gets it all over his hand.
He’s finally clean and freshly de-scented
and he sits and wishes he hadn’t relented.
“If only I’d waited a few minutes longer…
If only my self control were stronger”.
Suddenly he hears the crunching of leaves
He peers through leaves swaying in the breeze.
A flash of antler, it’s a monster buck!
Our hero can’t begin to believe his luck.
The buck raises his nose and smells the air
and his olfactory senses say “Dude, something’s there!”
This buck is smart and he senses a trap….
he knows this smell… it’s a pile of crap!
He turns and bolts and disappears
and our hero almost burst into tears.
The moral of the story is plain to see:
Don’t ever take a s**t that close to your tree.

That's one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. You two are champs at this!

The perfect ending to a perfect story/poem...

Great addition..

Ya know, with how fast littlechief came up with that, one would think that he's been in that situation a time or two
