New Moulrie cameras

Anyone have one, one of the D or M series? They say they have a 150 day battery life..... For some reason I don't believe it.

I believe it, they have really improved their cameras this year. The best thing i have found to do is to use a rechargeable battery, even if you don't have a solar panel on it. Improved the life of my battery's by at least 2 times.

I bought a new Moultrie this year and was quite impressed with the battery life. My dad had one last year that ran a 12v and the life was very short. The one I bought this year used 4 D cells. I used it for approx 2wks and the battery meter was near 80% when it was stolen. The weather was anywhere from 45-80 degrees. Life may be shorter in colder weather. I guess I will have to buy another to find out.

rechargeable d or 12v?
12 volt, but I'm sure rechargeable D's would have the same effect
