I have one and it works well.I only use mine for bowseason so I don't really range long distances. If you want something to range long distance I would choose a more expensivemodel or brand

I have the Yardage Pro. I does what I want it to do but since it is the only one I have ever had I have nothing to compare it to.My nephew has a Nikon and we are yard for yard at various ranges. Battery life is also good although I would prefer it to use something other than the CR2 battery which is a little pricey.

I have it, works for me, but like stated above I only use it for bowhunting and 3D shooting. I used to work at Gander Mountain and have compared it with other rangefinders. It does not have as clear optics as some of the higher end rangefinders, but for daylight and bowhunting I think it is the right one for the price. It also runs off a regular battery you can get at any gas station which was a big plus for me. Nothing worse than having a battery die and the only place to find one is a camera shop.

Just my $.02

I have one. I actually bought mine for golf.....and use it for bowhunting. Long ranges??? Heck....400 yds to +/- a yard or two is good enough for MY bowhunting.

They say it's not good in low light conditions. I see this NOT as a hinderance, though. If it's too dark to read my LED readout.....I have NO BUSINESS shooting, anyway.

It's a great range finder for the money. I picked mine up in 2000 or so (so, yes....it's tested) for <$150 on an internet deal.
