Sorry Jim I was busy, no excuse. No frost yet, Gramps is headed up for the opener I will give you a report. If you want to head up you are more than welcome to stay at our cabin. Just let me know I will tag along!! |
RE: What a Night
Here in New Orleans it is still 99.5 in the shade. Worked on feeders this weekend and saw 1 Cotton Mouth, 1 Biggest Copperhead I have ever seen (Thought it was a Timber Rattler at first), 1 Brown Recluse Spider and 1 Giant Black Widow Spider. Where the Hellll is the fall........

RE: What a Night
low 70's today in the burgh, but it was nice this evening. I was watching a field, saw 25-30 does and 4 young bucks. 3 of which were little spike/forkie thinigs... sporkies I guess you could say:D

RE: What a Night
Even in N. La. you could finally walk outside today without instantly sweating (also had to do with
severe overcast for 2 days). I was also excited about the cooler weather this afternoon without even really thinking about the why: From October to January is a great time of year if your a guy that likes to see your family, hunt, watch football, and eat. :) |
RE: What a Night
Im with ya germ, we are getting the cool air also, it just gets you pumped up. I even raised the windows in the house for the first time in awhile.

RE: What a Night
Low in the 45's here...man to be in a stand in the morn.;):D but alas, it's what 18 days away. It will be for sure in the 90's again.[:'(] But here's hoping and tomorrow I see the doc, I'm hoping for a walking boot and PT to start.

RE: What a Night
It was 58 this morning when I took the kids to school here in OK. Warmed up to about 83. First thought I had this morning is it would be great to be in a stand today. 67 right now.
