Here in New Orleans it is still 99.5 in the shade. Worked on feeders this weekend and saw 1 Cotton Mouth, 1 Biggest Copperhead I have ever seen (Thought it was a Timber Rattler at first), 1 Brown Recluse Spider and 1 Giant Black Widow Spider. Where the Hellll is the fall........
You said it. Southwest Florida may be the land of milk and honey when it comes to fishing or even hog hunting, but we have some challenges when it comes to deer season. If it's less than 90 on opening day in 1 1/2 weeks, I'll be happy.

Even in N. La. you could finally walk outside today without instantly sweating (also had to do with
severe overcast for 2 days).

I was also excited about the cooler weather this afternoon without even really thinking about the
why: From October to January is a great time of year if your a guy that likes to see your family, hunt,
watch football, and eat. :)

It was 58 this morning when I took the kids to school here in OK. Warmed up to about 83. First thought I had this morning is it would be great to be in a stand today. 67 right now.
