Is it a robin hood or not??

last night while shooting at 30 yards I hit the nock of my first arrow shot breaking it off. Now the arrow did not penetrate into the first arrow shaft but reflected off. Is this considered a robin hood?? I think I know the answer I am just stirring the pot a little.

If it only REflected:D(deflected) off and broke the nock no it is not a stack(robin hood). Its just buy a new nock time.;)

Sorry but i would have to say no. It is my understanding that a robinhood only happens when you shaft and arrow in the bullseye..otherwise you just missed twice in the same spot..... I'm in the missed in the same spot category;)

Negative. The arrow has to be trashed in order for it to be a Robin Hood. In my 9 years of shooting, I've busted an uncountable number of nocks off of arrows, but have never once shot a Robin Hood.

A true Robin Hood would be sending an arrow directly dead center of an intended target and then tubing that arrow with the next arrow, seemily intentional however,

Today, we take liberties in calling any arrow that tubes another a Robin Hood.

The only arrow I ever tubed was a friend of mines on a 3D course. He was in the 12 ring and I aimed for his arrow. I sent a Beman Carbon down his big aluminum. I didn't stop smiling at him all shoot. :D

I've never tubed my own but I've busted more than I care to remember. It's too expensive so I rarely shoot for groups.

I've shot one real robinhood, it is suppose to be a dead bullseye then the next shot goes in the other arrow. However I have shot another one I consider a robinhood because I wasn't even sighted in yet it was with my new bow. I was aiming for the bullseye both shots but it hit low and right, but they were both in the same spot. If I would have been sighted in, it would have been another true robinhood.

You see, are you taking liberties or is that first arrow in the bullseye or is on of the others. ;)
