No he's right, a cardeer necklace....

Back in 2001 our beloved member cardeer made us antler necklaces...seen here around my neck with this buck I shot in 2001......


He out of the goodness of his heart made these and sent out nearly a 100 of them to anyone who requested them. He charged nothing and he's not a man of means. It cost him quite a bit. Cardeer is part Indian and blessed these necklaces. That year I took the best deer of my life, so far.

If I remember correctly, He sent nearly 100 of them and nearly 100 that received them took bucks that year. The percentage is outstanding. My necklace now hangs from my rearview mirror of my truck and will always be part of me.

In return, the gracious members here on HNI took up a collection which I proudly collect which turned out to be nearly $400. I promptly suggestion that we purchase Cardeer a digital camera for Christmas because he told such outrageous stories and we could see his pictures...I bought him a digital camera and Rickmur met me at Cardeers just before Christmas.....we spent the day with him and had a venison roast, shot his crossbow and talked bowhunting etc....

For quite a while we enjoyed his stories and pictures...

The cardeer necklace is a piece of deer antler on a leather string to be worn as a warrior blessed from an Indian for hunting. I firmly believe it worked/works.

I see he hasn't been on since Christmas last year, anyone know how Bob is?

I was just going to ask you the same question.

I have not seen or heard from Bob in a long time I do hope he is alright.

I am also the proud owner of a Cardeer necklace;)which I wear every time I am out in the woods.

On top of it all he is a very successful hunter. I remember seeing some pictures. I sure miss reading his stories and adventures.
