B P E makes a good jig at a good price. if you are going to shoot broadheads, i would sugg. helical, i use right. jim

I'd definitly go helical, and as much as your rest will allow for clearance. Some fletching jigs have a set degree of offset. I bought Cabelas Fletching jig. Can do 3 vanes at once, and allows to adjust for different degree's of angle. You do have to decide left or right helical on this jig like most. I personnally shoot rights. When I first got into it I'd read right handed should shoot right, and Left shoot left. Although this theory has now been disproven. But either way its definitly worth the investment to fletch your own. I also have found Fastset Gel in the little red tube works great for holding vanes. I've never had one come off the shaft, and had to strip them off when needing replacement. Good Luck!

Straight 4 inchers is what i use. Grayling is a great one for 29.99 in cabelas.

I have recently switched to carbon arrows with a 4" straight vane, and not feathers. I had alot of feathers get wet or bent and screwed up my trajectory at 25 yards.

I have had great luck with the straights, shooting the t-m hunter rest.
