2 in the morning, can't sleep!!

Well, officially there is 6 days till the start of the Missouri archery season, and here it is 2 in the morning, and I can't sleep!! I'm tired....I wanna sleep.......BUT, every time I close my eyes a 135" 10 point walks 22 yards past my tree stand and a Hammerhead tipped Maxima zips through both lungs......I look over my shoulder to see the river flowing quietly through the fall woods.............Sure wish season would get here so I can get some bloody sleep.....Sheesh......

Here I sit also wishing I could sleep! I work swing shift and I go from nights to days every two weeks! Days starts on Monday, just coming off of nights now. Always a good time!

Well, it's past 2 here... but I'm up because I just got home from the OU over Miami domination celebration on the OU campus. And yes the deer season is second on my mind... right after the Elk hunt that begins on Wednesday.

I maybe slept a good hour or two Friday night. I know how you feel.

Good luck to you on Saturday.

"MY" feeling, Fraley?

My feeling is.....it's ridiculous. I'm going to show my disgust with this law, today, by fishing, watching NASCAR, drinking alcohol and watching our NFL team play.

If someone could take the emotion out......and give me a valid reason why we can't hunt on Sundays......I'd be all ears.

Sounds like a good day too me! Hate to break it to you but they had the night race in Richmond last night. You will just have to drink and watch football. :D

That reply is worthless without pictures. ;) ;) :D

Mobow, normally I would have been up with you but for a change I was actually able to fall asleep for a change. I'd have been up til 2 or 3 like the last month or so...I'll be hunting vicariously through you too when you start Mobow so don't leave anything out.

Saw the race, Ranger......just an analogy. I won't likely be drinking, today, either. I just don't see the big deal about Sunday hunting.

On a side note....I JUST heard a guy on ESPN (black commentator) say that while he didn't understand a sport that finds a man sitting in a tree.....waiting to bump off bambi....he acknowledged it was legal (He was speaking to Terrel Owens comparison of dog fighting vs. hunting).

We have a long way to go, guys.......

All I can say is, just post quietly at that hour please. The computer is just thru the wall from my bedroom. No BOLD or CAPS. I will be getting my beauty sleep. Except for maybe this Friday night. I might be right here with you.

That's the damage that was done. Despite the fact that TO is an ass and ignorant to hunting what so ever, he made a statement which will start an avalanche.....it'll hurt hunting's image long before we can mute it.....

Rob, I 'm going to try to really keep my season updated in my journal....At least once a week, maybe 2......I PLAN on documenting my journey w/ everyone via that vessel.....There will of course be threads on the hightlights though...

jm, I'll try to hold it down buddy, because beauty sleep is definetly something you are in desperate need of!! :D
