Reflex Growler?

I just looked at this bow today. If I buy a new bow it will be next spring. I was curious if anybody shoots this bow and what their thoughts were. I went to look at the Ross but I didn't like the shelf. I hit my thumb during draw. I have the same problem with Martin bows. I looked at several bows while I was there. The Growler stood out on price point alone. What do you folks know about this bow? Good or bad?

We sell them at the shop. They are very good bows, especially for the money. I believe they IBO at 305......Pretty smooth, very quiet and little vibration. Good shooting bow that will last years.

[/align]Mobo, it looked like a nice bow. I was a little nervous about the cam and 1/2 system. I was always told to stay away from 2 cam bows. I am hard to fit for a bow. I almost need to get a Hoyt or a Reflex. I shoot a 26.5 inch draw.[ I think.] The guys that set up my Pearson were in a hurry to get me done ,so they could sell some more Mathews.I think they work on comision. I only found out this summer that my nock point was set way to high.

LOL....Yeah, those 2 cam bows SUCK.....that's why they are so popular.....Nobody likes those things, which is why Hoyt is one of the top selling bows.......

Sounds exactly like something wanting to sell you a single cam bow would say......
Used to be, 2 cam bows were difficult to tune, which is why single cam bows became so popular. Believe me when I tell you that is no longer the case. It is a rare day that I see a Hoyt or Reflex go out of time, and that's generally due to a string going bad. I won't say it never happens, because it does. BUT, single cam bows, and the one that starts w/ an "M" is a prime example, just don't hold the speeds and efficiency's a 2 cam bow does.....How could it?? It's only got one power source....

The pro-shop I go to alot has said he's been selling a few of them lately. I thought they seemed like a pretty decent bow. Although I only handled one and didn't shoot it.

I have one. My previous bow was a mathews and before that a hoyt. I like this bow very much. Very smooth and quiet. Don't worry about the cam and a half system. It has proven its self years ago. One thing I really like is you can adjust the draw lenght yourself without a press.
