What time of day have you had opportunities and/or shot elk during Archery season? Include kills, misses, drew-ons or what you would consider real opportunities.

I have had onlysix real opportunities, three of them draws on elk, at (about) before 6 am, after 7 am, before 8:45 am, about 9:00, about 9:00, and at 10:15 in three seasons. Never even had a sighting in the evening.

One kill, the one after 7.

I see a technical problem - I don't know how to allow multiple votes from one hunter for one time slot. I tried to vote for9 amthree times but I can't vote again after the first one.


Edit - This isn't quite gonna work in the poll format since you can only put one vote in a time slot, so I deleted them all.

How about if you just reply with your answersand we can see them. Thanks

Moderator, can you eliminate the poll? Its looking kinda silly now that I messed it up.

From my only experience, we had our best luck in the evening. Two of us killed bulls in the evening. Probly 7:00 ish, right before dark. I had a couple of sightings in the morning, but no close calls. Could have shot a spike on the first evening, but passed.

One guy had a shot in the morning, not sure what time, late morning I think.

Our group definately had more opportunities in the evening than in the mornings.
