Arrow question

Ok i'm helping my younger sister set up her first bow. She's 14 and I bought her a browning rage on a good deal. i'm bringing her in to figure what draw length it should be set at. Now my question is its set at 50lbs. can she shoot a 5575 gold tip expedition arrow? or would i need to get a lower arrow?

RE: Arrow question

Can she shoot it? Yes, but a properly spined arrow (3555 if you like GT's) would fare much better and provide better results.

RE: Arrow question

50Lbs may be a bit much for her to start out with so you may want to lighten up a little for her "unless she's pretty stocky" as far as the arrows go, I'd deffinitly suggest either the Gold Tip Falcon 35's or the Expedition Hunter 35/55's, unless she's less than 24" then the Ultra Light 600's would be a better choice...

RE: Arrow question

thanks for the info, she can pull the 50 back pretty good but i might drop it to 45 since she's just starting. i think i'm ongna go with GT Expedition hunters 3555
