Ignorance, you condemed something you have no personall knowledge of.That makes you ignorant of it.

Not a stab at you,I have never climbed a mountain,so I am ignorant of it.

If It Is legal in your stateto bait orwherever you hunt ,then I see no problem with It and If someone does'nt like It well then that's there problem!

Ok.. Well i know of people who do although i don't personally do it... I started the topic to see what people thought of hunting over bait and if you can be proud of it, and not for any other reason for starting a fight or what not..

So with all that aside.. What do all of you feel about shooting over a bait pile ( yes there is work involved just not as much)and can you be as proud of it as if you did more work like scouting and so forth...

Is using camera's to do your scouting for you easier than scouting?Yes it is,so now for my question do you use camera's?and if so why because it's easier? We'll let me tell you just because you can hunt over bait does'nt guarantee you anything pal!!

I don't use cameras either... Just walk through the woods for a few days... But it does make your chances awfully a lotttttttt better than not hunting under anything at all

RE: shooting over bait

That is what I am trying to say,in my situation, there was MORE work involved with hunting over bait.

I can slip into the edge of a bed and get between them and their food source, which in my case, there is more crop land that interest them over the feeders.

In most cases,I would find that to be true.

Ask yourself this question, why are most trail camera pictures you see of the feeders, are the pictures taken at night?

My experience tells me that deer just don't come to feeders in daylight hours, unless in areas where food is in short supply and hunting pressure is very low.

My experience is NOT everyones experience, though.;)

You ever hunt over a food plot?? Same thing IMO.......Never understood the difference, other than the obvious.

I agre 10000000 percent same as throwing out a bait pile, cept a lot bigger!

The only difference is more points of entry.

Same thing applies, get between the food and the bed and you will be on the deer.

Chances are the deer will enter downwind, use that to your advantage.

Man you guyspick at the dumbest things, Im just asking whether you can feel proud of it.. To the fellow who said ive never done it , I havefriends that hunt where you can bait in and they have greater success when baiting at times then when they dont...

Have we not been discussing this for the past day or two, do we need multiple posts to discuss the same topic. If FredBear023 wishes to discuss it, take it here where it is being discussed. I don't even see the reasoning of starting new threads when we've covered the bases already. It's not the thread passed.
