RE: Does anybody use string whiskers anymore?
Do you mean rubber cat whiskers? Your post implies something else to me. Anyway, I use them all, but like leeches best.

RE: Does anybody use string whiskers anymore?
Sorry if this picture doesn't work but here we go. I have since added the leeches that were removed to the cables. Not sure if made any diffrence Only problem I found was that the top wisker would hit the cable, so I have to make sure to keep that particular spot waxed well.

RE: Does anybody use string whiskers anymore?
Funny, just a few days ago I shot the factory silentcer out of thestring on my Allegence(hit me right sguare in the eye) after about 25 shots with a meanyv string surpressent attached. I replaced it immediatly with a cat wisker as it was what I had in my tackle box. I will leave it in (top and bottom) to see how they perform. Didn't like the sound without anything on the string although many here have removed thier silentcers' when useing a string surpressent.
