Just finished sharpening mine. Hopefully I'll dull it up, Saturday.

Good luck G, Sept. 15th for me. Went last week with the rifle, saw 10 deer 2 bucks and never pick up the gun. Was fun though, the 1st 4 deer looked rite at the stand. Which was on a powerline. Funny this early and they already know. LOL

You know Jeff, I'm glad you season starts before mine, with all the reminders and tips (great by the way) it takes all the guess work and last minute thinking out before my season starts.;)

just had a friend of the family take care of my knife (I suck at sharpening) He has been a cook for 30 years, man can he get a blade.

I hear ya, Rybo. I practice with the same blades I use to hunt with (Muzzy's).....and I'll be switching my blades, tonight.

Far as I know......I'm ready. Only thing left to do is adjust my harness.I bought a new HSS at the end of last season.....and it's been hanging in my shed ever since.

No matter what......I'll be having fun Saturday.
