Actually the only reason people arent beating on you besides me, is because there obviously all your red neck friends. See what a real hunting site thinks about your AMAZING! shot http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=2306515 I understand most of you are kids, saying stuff like "I wish I could make shots like that". Its ok, one day you will figure out what a good shot really is It did bring me over and I am glad for that |

RE: Unethical shot and won't even admit it!
Just thought this might help thingsa bit:
When hunting with a firearm, you can sometimes hit an animal a little outside of the vital zone and still make the kill. This is because firearm cartridges have so much energy that the sheer shock of the impact can be enough to kill the animal. THIS IS NOT TRUE FOR BOWHUNTING. When bowhunting, the only place you should shoot an animal is in the center of the chest. The heart, lungs, liver and many major blood vessels are located here, so a solid hit in the chest area will almost always result in a quick, humane kill and a good blood trail to follow. RE: Unethical shot and won't even admit it!
ORIGINAL: txjourneyman I have no ethics where hogs are concerned. Being from the panhandle you know what kind of damage they are capable of. Thin them out any way you can. I would take the shot and hope for the opportunity. |
