Hard time focusing..
 

I have 24 days to go, I've been counting down for several months and it seems that once I get one month out from opening day its all I can think about. I can feelthe hint of fall in the air, I see the products insporting goods in all the stores changing over to bow season equipment, I've been practicing my bow, all my equipment is ready, I have a place to hunt, and now its just me and the anticipation of the hunt.

Man I love this time of the year!Who is with me?

im in the same boat. it's starting to smell like fall instead of the intene heat of summer im rady to stick one.

Me too! It was in the 100's a couple of weeks ago and it was 77 when I came to work this morning. Its supposed to get down into the 60's Friday and Sat during the evenings. I'm ready for it.

Yeah tell me about it, and this site really adds fuel to the fire. Work ethic has went down hill greatly in the past couple of weeks. Can't seem to get motivated to get my work done.

I'm with you. The hardening of the antlers, the cooler mornings, the acorns start dropping, the leaves start changing colors, the local high school football games are underway, the smell is in the air, the feeling is in the soul...I'm with you and counting the days.

I'm in the same boat at work. Are you in Morgantown? I have family in Webster Springs. We were just there in July.

i have almost started the rut and other day i pulled the bed sheets back and then the wife came in and slapped the fire out of me for peeing on the bed lmfao

Sept 29th is PA's opener but with my ruptured Achilles tendon, I'm not sure when I'll make it out. The next couple weeks will determine that. I'm sure I'll make it out mid Oct worst case but perhaps earlier depending on recovery...

Yea everyyear about this time I completely lose what little focus I have and it's all about daydreaming about hunting and how I want to approach things and where to hunt and visualizing about every scenerio known.

I am certainly with you, i am in my final semester of college and all i can think about is bowhunting in a few weeks! i find myself trying on my camo clothes and watching hunting videos for extremely extended periods of time, Iadmit and apologize but I am an ADDICT!!!

im pumped. next saturday starts an early archery doe hunt. really hoping some does decide to feed in my apple orchard next saturday morning. hopefully i will be posting my first archery kill.

got a good bit of scouting to do here at school yet...but got just over 3 weeks left till the real opener..so im hoping to get that done next week.

right now, it seems so far away...with it being 90 out and all. but i see nothing but 70s for next week! thats exciting to hear...hopefully next saturday is nice and cool and the deer are moving well.

I'm with all you guys. Rybo, I know what you mean. I fell asleep watching a deer video late last night rocking my 7 month old. Training her up right. :)
