Man thats great! My first deer was a spike with my rifle and also with my bow. Their right there will never be another one like it. Congratulations!!!!!

Get him mounted. Seriously my first deer was a spike about that size. I pondered getting him mounted. My wife (then GF) told me to get it mounted. I did and have not regreted it one bit. It's your first and the memories last even longer with it on your wall.
