Lawyers?

I know I am really opening myself up to a lot of wisecracks here, but I just started law school and was wondering if there were any attorneys/hunters in the bowhunting forum.

And feel free to share your best lawyer joke.

I'm not, but my wife is, and she does a good job of financing my hunting trips. Good luck in pursuit of your goal.

Pitt Law grad here. NorthTexan is a law school graduate too. I'm still waiting on a passing PA bar score. Missed the cut by 1.4% in the February exam. [>:]

Great career choice once you gain admission to the bar. Bar passage rates range from 50-95%. Just checked - and it looks like Missouri's exam is middle-of-the-pack, with 75% passage. That's do-able. If you wanna practice in California or NY - start studying now. LOL

When selecting a school - look at their bar passage rates. That's all that matters. I went to a highly-ranked, prestigious school that had a bad track record on the bar. It was too late to change my mind or transfer, so I had to learn everything for the examafter I'd already graduated.

Once I pass, I'll probably either stay where I'm at, or work temp assignments, so that I can take a month off every year for hunting season. Money shouldn't be much of an issue, and you're able to hop around a lot after you're licensed.

I was going to go to law school but I couldn't stand the publice ridicule and the thought of everybody thinking that I was lazy and good for nothing so I decided to become a government employee instead.:D
