Opinion on score
 

Shot him on Sunday, make your best guess. He's a typical 4x4, with 5 on one side (hurts him in the scoring). Looking for net (I want to know if he'll make 125). Will get him scored ASAP (have done it myself, but from getting a couple measured over the years I know that I'm not very good at it).

Understand.....I'm a complete novice at this.....

BUT.....If I had to guess.....I'd say he wasn't gonna make it. Hopefully I'm wrong. He's a beautiful buck, regardless. Congratulations.

FWIW, I also feel he will come up a few inches short - probably a bit over 120", but likely not 125" (I was hoping others might tell me I'm a pessimist :)

not sure on the score...the brows are gunna hurt him...he got decint mass and tine and beam legnth though...if i had to guess id say hes 120ish...but i stink at scorin:) lots of seasons guys here can come within an inch or 2 most of the time just by lookin...they will be postin soon im sure;)

great looking buck. Congrats. He's going to be VERY close netting out. Don't be too hung up about it, you shouldn't let score take away from a great buck.

Its only the gross that counts... ;)

but I think he'll be a bit short after shrinkage...

Still, a great deer!

I put him at 121-125 Gross

Looking at his head he looks to be about 2.5, you have some real hogs where you hunt. 120+ 2.5 years old is outstanding IMO.
