I'm Outtie!!!!
 

Well, tomorrow morning I leave camp and start making my way out to Alberta. I have to stop in Saskatoon, SK tomorrow night to drop a trailer off for my carpenter. Then Thursday I drive to Calgary to stay another night and pick up a friend of mine at the airport on Friday morning. Friday afternoon we meet our buddy, the outfitter, and head to base camp. We start hunting Saturday morning.

With as busy as the summer has been, this trip has snuck up on me...fast. I'm ready for it though! We'll be bowhunting elk for 7 days and then I may stay another 4-5 days to chase some mulies around.

I'll be taking a bunch of pics and posting them when I get back....though it won't be for 2-2.5 weeks.:D

Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to this hunt...It'll be my first archery elk hunt and its in a 6pt minimum area just outside of Banff National Park. Should be exciting.

I gotta get back to packing!
