Gr8, that's great news. I'm trying to convince the wife that I wouldn't use the tendon to climb into a stand...;)

You guys ever just thought about renting a cherry picker from your local equipment rental yard?

Brush it in real good.......climb into the basket.....hit the button......up ya go.

:)

And thats true..except if you don't get your foot centered and pivot on the ball of your foot..thats the only risky part. For the actual climbing on a ladder or screw in step you don't use the tendon. (but you know that).

I have no doubt of your where-abouts on Sept 29th...none...:)

Jeff, hell yeah, even when I'm healthy I've thought about that...not renting, but buying..some of my spots I'd love to hang a stand there are NO TREES and no good blind spots...[8D]

Too funny.

Here's some more shots from last year from this stand for those that may not have seen it.

Trail cam pic prior to opening day. 2.5 year old 5 point, wasn't taken as far as I know, interested to see him at 3.5 if alive, same with the 1.5 year old 7 in the background, passed him a half dozen times at 20 yards. Should be a good 2.5 year old.

In the woods directly behind this treestand. This buck would have been 15 yards from tree.

This deer on the very left hand side of the picture might be the one I took.

Last years buck, I shot this buck from another stand but he came out of the woods directly under the stand we hung above, stayed in the food plot for a while and I called him the 200 yards down the field to the other treestand we didn't get hung yesterday.
