Deer Target

I'm sure it's been asked before, but which deer target do you think is best for broadhead use/extraction? I'm tired of shooting at a block target, and wanted to add some realismto my shooting.

RE: Deer Target

Ive been using a delta trophy whitetail target, its pretty close to the size of a glendel and has held up pretty well thus far. The inserts are alot cheaper than glendels andmine has lastedall summer. Thats with mainly field points but it has takenlots ofbroadheads in the last few weeks.

I use a River Bottom Buck. They are on the small side, but they are also alot cheaper and the mids are too. Your gonna do alot of damage with broadheads so why buy a $100 to $200 dollar target for that?

My old deer target, Mackenzie,is so old that it doesn't even stop the arrows any longer! It is the one with the replaceable foam insert. I have gone through 3 of them. Want to try the Glendel but I don't want to break with the coin! I'll just keep going with the pass throughs until the family buys me one for Christmas!
