September is when I see the most action but October is dang good to... then I like November, oh and December is good to. I love it all

If the weather cooperates--First half of january---after that first of feburary---Our peak of the rut here is usually middle to late january!

I don't have that problem, I hunt probably 60-70 days per year!

If I had 8 weeks to tie up it would be from the 3rd week of Oct to the middle of Dec.

During the week not during the weekend , In the afternoon and during the RUT .

The best time is the first cool/crisp morning in the stand. Here in NC that could be Oct or Nov. As long as I'm in the woods I'm happy!

oct 31 - middle of november

right as it first starts to get light, cold,no windand a light frost is almost perfect.

Given that option alone...it would have to be the opening weekend.
Overallit's the bestchance for taking a deer that has not been previously disturbed, maybe not the biggest buck, but it does put food on the table.

I would have to say the seeking phase but heck who really cares as long as you are hunting.

Our season comes in Aug. 15th and lasts until Jan. 1st. Between those dates I can hunt seven days a week (depending on what shift I am on).

Because of our heat, I would have to say that my favorite time to be in the woods is Oct. and Dec.

Oct b/c of the rut and Dec. b/c of the chance to get out and enjoy something we don't get very often. Cold weather.

In Pa, I would hunt the5th, 6th, 7thof Nov. In Alberta, I would pick the first few days of the second week in Nov, which I'll be doing.:DI am pumped!!!!;)

I love it all, but the rut is usually mid-late november, even though I have a killer early season spot.

I love cold crisp mornings where you can hear a leaf crunch from 100 yards off.

But I don't think I've ever not enjoyed a day in the woods.

I didn't no vote. My favorite time is anytime. I love the short sleeve weather and anticipation of the early season hunts. Mid-October is beautiful and the weather is usually Heavenly. Seeing the whitetail antics in early November is enjoyable, too.

i would say opening weekend cuz i would see more deer and be less bored but all the time is good, Ipod video for the wait.
