golf range finder?
would a golf range finder work as a hunting range finder? I found a golf one and don't want to spend 200$ on a laser range finder. If this wont work can someone suggest one under 120$ please? thanks!

RE: golf range finder?
My guess is that it will do fine if your looking for longer range shots. Don't know there accuracy up close. Will have to look into that.
Eric Stacy AKA: DeerDope UPDATE: Look at this web page and you decide. Range finder $38.00 Accurate out to 1000 yards. Huh........ http://www.golfsmith.com/products/241155?PHPSESSID=47ff0bd862d19cc839373eab3f49f08c |
RE: golf range finder?
I have one that you look through and set it on the flagstick, suppose to tell you how far to the green/pin. It's not digital, I would just have to find out how to get aflag stickout in the field..Ha!

RE: golf range finder?
I was hoping i wouldnt need to aim it at a flag pole. just the animal. would that work?

RE: golf range finder?
The problem with using a golf range finder is the pin is the same height for each hole, you get the yardage based off the size of the pin relative to how small it is in the viewfinder. It would work if you knew how high 6 feet (or however high the pin is) wherever you're looking.

RE: golf range finder?
You might want to check out the Nikon 440.
I have owned them both and sold the Bushnell 3 days after I got the Nikon. IMHO |
