Just wonderin how long everybody sits for??

i would say it varies, depending on whether, deer activity, hunger level, etc. usually i like to sit until about 11am, go in and get food and then come on back out around 2 or so. sometimes if i got a good breakfast and seeing alot of deer or feel good about the spot, will try to pull it off until 1pm or so, but usually only do that if im not evening huntig, since leaving at 1 or so and then returning at 330-400 increases chances of spooking them

in tn the deer move all times of the day i have seen and jumped them going to the stand at 1:30 in the afternoon

I hunt all day, I feel that deer move natrally in the morning and evening but between the hrs of 10 and 2 people walking in and out will be moving deer.

If in a stand I can sit aboutfour maybe five hours and I am getting sore and restless. But if I am in a ground blind in my nice lawn chair I can sit all day if need be. Having a book or magazine also helps for long stays for me.

I normally sit for about 5 hours, but during the rut its an all day thing.

In the past, I usually sit until 11:00 and then come back out about 3:30. This year I'm going to try to be more disciplined. I know I'm missing out on some opportunities. We don't have a really well-defined rut period where I'm at, so it's hard to convince myself to sit out all day.

I usually sit 3-4 hrs but I'm gonna do a few all day sits as soon as I get a comfy enough stand for my big butt.

I usually sit for about 4 hours. All day during the rut.

Most of the time, I only get to hunt for a couple hours after school. During the weekend, Im usually out for around 3 - 3 1/2 hours.

I sit usually around 9 or 10 in the mornings and i go back out about 2 or so since they move alot more in the afternoon...

I arrive on stand at 6am and don't go back to the cabin until 6pm. Can't shoot deer if you are not in your stand.

On average I get on stand about 5:00 am and stay till 11:00 am.
Rut I might stay all day 5:00 to 6:00. Really depends on which stand I am hunting confort wise and if I brought food and liquids for full day.

it depends on my schedule but usaully the whole day with a lunch break:eek:
