Question about tuning...???

I was wondering if someone could diagnose a problem w/ my arrow flight. When i shoot the arrow cork-screws about one full rotation before it hits the target. Thanks 4 the help

RE: Question about tuning...???

it could be a number of things....
center shot or knocking point needs adjusted in or out...or up or down. your arrows could be spined wrong for your set-up...kinda hard to diagnose what you're asking because you've left it open to a large range of problems....
best thing to do is shoot it through paper first. come back on here and let me know what kinda tear you have in the paper. straight left, straight right, straight up, straight down...etc...etc...etc

RE: Question about tuning...???

Yeah, nodose, I noticed I lost 50-60 posts over the weekend.

LBC, I was having the exact same problem with three of my four muzzy-tipped arrows. One flew wonderfully with the BH and they all flew great with field pts. I take them into the shop thinking that it was me, and I wanted someone else to shoot it to see. Immediately he puts it on the spin tester and, of course, the only one with the insert perfect is the one that flies right. He heated them up and turned the head/insert and now they are great.I had spun them in my hand and the imperfection was so small that I really couldn't see it. I'm fairly new to this, so I didn't have the experience to notice the really subtle stuff. Check the insert alignment.
