I use the chrono at my shop. We have a fall tune-up deal that we do for bows. A lot of people have come in for it and we chrono their bows for them, paper tune, tight allons, wax strings and cables, check poundage, check limbs, and tweak anything else that needs tweaking.

I hunt and shoot alot of differant bows(recurves & longbows)with varying draw weights so I use a chrono quite often.I like all my bows shooting around the same speed so I'll use the chrono to check differant shafts(lighter or heavier)til I find the ones that shoot the way I want them to

Used a chrono for years for both archery and reloading with my rifles and hand guns. For $100-$200 you can get a very good quality chrono. I like
the PACT brand myself.
