Checked the cam today.....

Velvet is starting to come off.... Notice the dates and times the photos were taken.... It is a rather fast process.

Yearling 8 point.







This is the oldest and largest bodied buck I have ever got cam pics of as well....







Notice the hard horned yearling 8 point in the background. (Not the same yearling buck as the one pictured above)



This guy is just starting to shed his velvet as well....

Scott, that last buck is incredible but man, they sure lose a lot of mass when the drop the velvet. I'm hoping to see that big'un without velvet. He is impressive and you know me, I like the looks of that "unique" one too.;)

Wow Scott, those are some awsome pictures. I was out scouting this evening and found one that is hanging around the edge of my honey hole property that had drool coming out of my mouth, I will be setting up some cameras in this area tomorrow and hopefully I will have a few pics of him, he is a main frame ten with a good bit of junk including a split G-2 and a double brow.

Keep me/us updated on the big 10, I really can't wait to see him with the rest of his velvet off! :)

Man, that one sure does look mature. Looks like his neck stays a little thicker than the rest. And what a full chest he has. Nice group of bucks you got there Scott. Hope you can keep tabs on them till your season opens.

No pics of him this time around..... I went to check the cam earlier than usual today because it is suposted to rain tomorrow and if it is to wet I can't drive back..... Farther than I want to walk in he summer heat if I dont have to.
