Checked the cam today.....

Velvet is starting to come off.... Notice the dates and times the photos were taken.... It is a rather fast process.

This is the oldest and largest bodied buck I have ever got cam pics of as well....







Notice the hard horned yearling 8 point in the background. (Not the same yearling buck as the one pictured above)



This guy is just starting to shed his velvet as well....

Scott, that last buck is incredible but man, they sure lose a lot of mass when the drop the velvet. I'm hoping to see that big'un without velvet. He is impressive and you know me, I like the looks of that "unique" one too.;)

i heard that once they start shedding their velvet they lose all of it within 24 hours
