How does any one know that. Yes it looked like a harmless but they show any form of attempt onm recovery? NO! Half the poeple on here preach dont fuel the antis etc. Then you have a show on cable TV winging deer and laughing about it. tisk tisk.

And yeah, those 2 buck fights were awesome. I couldn't imagine being that close. I just wish they wouldn't have used that cheesy music.

It was obvious that that deer was not fatally wounded and only had a bad cut on his back at worst. Going to look for that deer after reviewing the videowould have been a worthless search.

any ethical hunter would have at least attempted to search for the deer, it could have possibly died, doubtful but POSSIBLE. I did not see the shot so i cant comment but no matter what if i think i hit the animal there will be a search regardless of how superficial the wound is... because you just never know

I honestly think the arrow shaft slapped the buck accross the top of the back, resulting in the sound you can hear. I'm not trying to stir the pot, support the show, yadda, yadda, yadda. I really think that is what happened. It didn't really look like the broadhead penetrated anything. At worst, the buck has a small slice accross the skin on his back.
