Default Rangefinder Question/Opinion

I am looking at getting a new rangefinder and wanted to hear opinions on the new ARC (Bushnell Elite) and TBR (Leupold RX-IV) systems and if they are worth the hype, or should I go with a more expensive rangefinder like the Leica CRF?

What are you gonna be using it for? What game pursuits?

Exactly. If you are a treestand hunter and are just ranging trees in the area than go cheap. If you are a spot and stalker and are ranging deer or elk in low light conditions get a good one with an led read out that is lit up in the screen. I have a Bushnell Scout that is great for ranging things in the daylight but under low light conditions you can't read the readout due to it not being a litup led readout. No good for elk hunting.

I will use it mainly for deer....Bow, Muzzle Loader and Rifle, possibly elk in the future. I want to get the best all around rangefinder that I can use in almost any situation. I know this is a lot to ask for but just want to get opionions as I am not sure.

I did go to sportsmans warehouse yesterday and looked through the Leica, Swaros, Bushnell Elite and Leupost RX-IV. The Leica and Swaros were much more clear but don't have the features of the Bushnell and Leupold. I did like that the Leica had a very bright recticle.

Thanks for any advice and opinions as I can use them all.

I would say the Luepold but the only things that is a negative is the price. I own one and i love it. but if it would have been cheaper i would love it even more

I purchase the low end Bushnell, it fogged up on my the first season, I returned it and went with the Nikon, it's much better. But if you want to spend the extra money, it's up to you.
