Question about scentlok.
 

Im looking into gettingsomeScentLok coveralls for this bow season and Id like to ask other people what they think would be the best bet. Short of spending 350-400 on a complete outfit.

The Savahna series coverallsare the ones Im looking at but I have aquestion about them.

Are they made to where you can wear say a pair oflong underwear,jogging pants and at least a t-shirt and sweat shirt underneath, or are they too tight fitting. Thats the big question!
Any suggestions are helpfull guys.

Willy, you can go to scentlok.com and they give you a brief description of the uses of the savanah series clothes. That being said, If your planning on wearing themwhen it gets cold, you could buy something a little warmer and cheaper to wear over them. Good luck this season.

instead of buying the under armour why dont you just invest that extra money and get the full season or timber fleece series that scent lok make they are rated to like 30 degrees and you can layer a sweat shirt of something under them if it get any colder.

WV---Great choice on the under armour, but the only thing I can suggest is dont waste the x-tra money on CAMO UA. I guess if thats your thing everything camo but you will never have your COLD gear on without something over it so it does not matter IMO. Now if it was heat gear then I would say go for the camo.
Hey just my opinion you do your thing and good luck with whatever you choose!

Also dont know if you have any question if it works well, but if you do there is no doubt I will ever go another winter without it! Awesome Stuff!!!!

Hey thanks for the input guys! WesternMDhardwoods you have a good point with the camo v/s the black in the under armour.I do however plan to wear the under armour only until I reach the ridge and then slipping into the coveralls. (in early season) after it getts cold and stays cold I will most likely wear it all to walk in and then put on a jacket if I need it.

The under armour is going to be replaceing a pair of jogging pants,an insulated undershirt and a sweat shirt. Over that Ihad on my camo pants and light jacket.

I own the coverals you speak of and you can put a lot under them provided you oversize them a little. The only problem with coveralls in generall is the tend to bind when you draw so practice with them on!

I've got the Savanna pants and jacket.I bought them 1 size bigger so that I could layer underneath. If you get them sized right you can wear sweat pants and a sweat shirt underneath and feel comfortable. But most of the time I just wear a set of X-Scent base layers underneath and it feels great. Although that combo does get a little chilly when the temps drop below 55 degrees.
