I take that as a sign that they don't want you asking.

I disagree with you. 3 of the 5 places I hunt are posted with no contact info. I just went and knocked on the door, introduced myself and asked if I could bow hunt. And basically they told me that since "I asked, and didn't just walk in there".it was ok with them, and would be allowed just as long as I didn't tear up the place, "sneak people in"....etc.

If I were you, I'd go ask these people, the worst they can do is tell you no.
Outstanding - never hurts to ask.

I always figured that either they didn't want anyone asking or they had to put up 1000 signs and just didn't want to write out their name and address 1000 times.

Some folks should have a hunting season. I'd be tagged out the first day of child molester season.

I understood it perfectly well, but they better allow multiple tags.

Sorry to hear about your stand, effin thieves .

It would be nice to catch them when you had your bow with you. I wonder how a blunt tip arrow would feel traveling at 270+ fps.

Have you thought about setting up set a spring type bear trap? At least you'll have a foot left behind to take to the hospital so they could reattach the the thieve's leg ? ? ?

I realize it is on private property, but just use a lock anyway. Even on our property I use a lock and chain.

I understood it just fine.

I like the bear trap idea, put your cell phone number on it so they can call and ask for help after.

Now let's talk abouta similarissue.........I have three nice stands in my garage that belong to someone else. Yes, I stole them, from guys who hung them on private property. MY PRIVATE PROPERTY. If they want them back they can come and get them. Funny no one has yet.

Property is clearly marked as private and has been so for several years, but about every other year or so someone comes over the back fence and sets a stand.

I'm interested in what you guys think: agree or disagree with my collection of stands.
I 100% agree that's just as bad as stealing stands.
