What steps do you take to properly tune your bow, and get it sighted in??

I take it to my local archery shop and have it super tuned (tuning w/ laser).

Using a laser tuner is just setting up the rest and cenetrshot using the laser. It has nothing whatsoever to do with tuning. Tuning is the act of shooting whatever arrows you shoot and adjusting the bow to get the best arrow flight from your chosen arrows.

There are several popular methods and many not so known methods for tuning and fine tuning. Using a laser is not one of them.

Try downloading "Tuning Guide" from www.eastonarchery.com. You can even print it and have a hard copy. The most useful piece of tuning aid you're likely to ever find.

The only thing I need to do with the Allegiance is I laser and level tuned it, took it out and it was shooting perfect darts.

Set the sight up, set the levels, 3rd Axle etc....set the pin gap.

I then screwed in a couple broadheads to check it out and I had Fixed blade Muzzy, Rocky Mountain Snypers and field points hitting together....can't be any more tuned....Paper was useless at this point.

Sometimes you don't even accomplish that.If the riser isn't square with the centershot,you accomplish nothing but a bow that has the centershot set incorrectly.
