I usually dont do anything but get bored lol I dont think I could sit in the deer stand all day .

I am not one to sit in the stand all day but a book would be helpful if I did. I try to enjoy nature will I am out there.

TeeJay says that he plays with himself while on stand; try that. I myself am always brainstorming up some idea or hunting plan and passing the time in a stand is easy for myself.

I hate waking up from a "falling dream" and being 20' up in the air, but the adrenaline rush usually stops the possibility of dozing off for the rest of the day!

play games on cell phone(I allways bring it incase of emergency, snake bite, cut my self with broad heads, etc.)
I used to bring a Ipod mp3 player but it didnt work nearly as good. cant hear while the movie is on. also dont want to look away either.
I mess with the camera some too while up there. practiceing for the shot and all.
if it passes the time, and doesnt make noise I might try it.

I actually bring some bird feed and feed the Whiskey Jacks right out of my hand. Also bring the Flu-Flu and shoot the odd grouse or squirrel that comes by

I usually just concentrate on hunting and trying to let my brain defragment. Sometimes I nap, but
that can be scary in certain stands. I probably need to try reading. It doesn't involve that
much movement and might keep me on the stand during those long, boring stretches.
